the stench formed in wolverhampton in 1981 with the influences of the pistols/ the sniveling shits, lets just say a lot of first wave punk! the group were more in to nihilism and the darker side of humanity. Not to many people at the time could figure us out, or where we were coming from, as we had no political agenda, this I think somtimes confused the more liberal punks in the audience, who had embraced the new hippy/punk ideology. the stench have surported bands such as the uk subs/ g.b.h/ the partisans/s.p.g the band did release a single on sticky records called "raspberry cripple" in 82 but the band considered it to be more of a demo than a final recorded track, and they had by then progressed to a tight performing band [if they were sober! lol] but i must admit 90% of stench gigs where cut short due to violence, which the band found tiresome and eventually led to the stench being banned from performing in ther home town. the band continued to gig round the country but eventually backed in to the studio where they recorded enough material for two albums, but were never released as the band broke up in the fall of 84. since then they have had a re-release of ther first single on a american lable [puke and vomit] in 2005 and a album released on a italian record lable [pure punk] in 2008, also another album out now available from www.purepunk.it called "obsessed with evil" the stench are now waiting to see if ther is enough interest in the band to justify reforming to record and perform again! History

In 1997, The Beer Goggles broke up. Ugly Lenny went on to play bass with The Confederats; and later, tiltWheel. Tim Boyle went on to play with Uncalledfor. Lenny & Tim came together in 2000 to start Inciting Riots. Some guy (drums) completed the band in 2001. Pegadeth joined on second guitar in May 2002. Some guy left in July 2003 and was replaced by Matt Bastard a week later. Girth filled in on bass during Tim's vacation from society...till the end of 2004 when the original 4 piece line-up got back together to kick in the new year! Peggy left in July 2005 and was replaced by Mikey Dietz a week later....and left a few months after. Then, after 2 years of instability, John Klecker joined the Riots and we're ready to destroy your city.

The sound of Sledgeback originates in the Hungarian front man's vocal style that defines the whole structure of the group with lyrics that often describe painful moments of life taken from Hun's personal experiences. Sledgeback may sound close to its influences but still is easily recognizable, creating a unique mixture of the so called "street punk" style with the timeless sound of '90s west coast punk and successfully incorporating the vocals of Gabor Hun that sets them aside from other similar bands

Dawn grew up in the town of Temuco, the dissolution of most punk bands of the city. Cany Davis and we were colleagues, we met with the Bull that came from playing in "no order and no country" 98/Skapunk. When we invite the 3 carlos and Ditter to complete the band, was there when we created the first songs. We start the tests in the summer of 2004. 2006 for problems laburo, Cany leaves the group then enters the Troppo "Low Level" 96/Punk. Banal Anal started the first time in 1988 and went to the grave 1995th Banal Anal released three demo "WHY (1988)", "DARK TIME (1989)" and "TIME IS UR POINT (1993)" in 1995 released a CD "GREEDY JAWS bite ".
Banal Anal reunited again in 2010 but with the singer as the only original member. The band went into the studio in April 2010 and recorded the CD demo "VULGAR ILLUSION" which includes two new tracks as well as two new recordings from 1988.
November 2010 was once again the new material and even there with two new recordings from 1988 and 1989. album called "Betraying" published sometime in the spring. CD will contain 11 tracks including "VULGAR ILLUSION" to boot!

Cobra is a Japanese Oi!/punk band based in the Osaka area. They were one of the first bands in Japan to incorporate the style of Oi! in their sound and appearance. They have cited as their influences early British Oi! bands such as Cockney Rejects and Business.

The original incarnation of the band was formed in 1982 by two friends who had first met in their junior high school's folk music club: Yosu-ko (on vocals and bass guitar) and Naoki (currently of SA, on guitar), and a mutual friend known as Mi-chan on drums. Their first recording was the EP Break Out, released from the independent label AA Records in 1984

Cobra released several singles and EPs on AA Records, some of which were later collected on a CD entitled Indie Omnibus '82-'86. The band's debut LP, Stand the Pressure (1985) was also released on AA Records, and featured an eye-catching cover of a boot crushing a young man's face (and has since been reissued on CD at least twice). After Stand the Pressure, Cobra disbanded for several years.

In 1989, Yosu-ko happened to meet Naoki and bassist Pon, who at the time were both members of the punk band Laughin' Nose but thinking of leaving the band. The three decided to reform Cobra; drummer Ki-Yan completed this line-up. They were signed by a major record label, Pony Canyon, and released two full-length albums (Oi Oi Oi and Captain Nippon, both 1990) and a half-length album (Stand Strong Straight, 1991). Although this incarnation of Cobra was commercially quite successful (e.g. playing at Budokan in January 1991), it disbanded in December 1991. After the breakup, Yosu-ko and Pon pursued their interest in house music under the moniker Cow Cow, while Naoki formed a rock band called Dog Fight, with his younger brother Taisho on vocals, Ken (currently of SA) on bass guitar, and Ki-Yan on drums.[3]

A Best Of Cobra CD, consisting of 18 cuts from the 1990/91 albums, was released in 1996. Cobra reformed and released a new album, simply entitled Cobra, in 1999. Yosu-ko and Naoki were the only members to return from the previous lineup; Yosu-ko handled the bass duties as well as vocals, and the duo were joined by drummer Yoshiro. This album represented a departure in the band's sound compared to their 80's/early 90's work, with generally quieter guitars, less of an emphasis on sing-along choruses, and more of an overall alt-rock feel than one might have expected from the group's earlier recordings.

Another album with the same lineup, OK Ride On, was released later that year on EMI Records, and marked something of a return to form for the band; as did the follow-up, Voice, released in 2001. After Voice, Naoki left Cobra to become the guitarist for the resurgent Oi! Punk band SA. Yoshiro departed as well, and Yosu-ko recruited yet another lineup—guitarist Kasuga, bassist Okamoto, and drummer Keigo—for the next album, On The Street (2002), which consisted largely of re-recorded versions of old Cobra songs, as well as a cover of the Clash classic "White Riot". Guitarist and drummer both left shortly thereafter. Reduced to a two-piece, Cobra atypically recorded their following album, Reality Check (2003), outside of Japan; it was laid down at West Side Punk Place in Los Angeles, with a guest guitarist and bassplayer.

The band's most recent album, Hello! This is COBRA, (2009) finds Yosu-ko backed by an all-new lineup: Yuichi on bass, Ryu on drums, and Lina on guitar.

Like most J-punk bands, Cobra has retained an essentially insular audience; to date, they have not performed live in North America or Europe, nor have any of their albums been officially issued by non-Japanese labels or distributors (though occasional bootlegs, particularly of Best of Cobra, have surfaced in the United States).

Pöblers United have existed for a few years. We have change members, names and music style lots of time, so I guess you can say we are quite new after all. Pöblers have only been a pure skinhead band for a year or two.

-Why you started with the group? for the music or for politics?

For the music.

-Your influences

Oppressed, Sham, Last Resort, Blitz and of course Twisted Sister.

-What do you think about people "politically correct" and radical feminism(in Sweden)?

Ver few are good, but most are just a big pain in the ass.

- Is thereany left wing skin organisation ?

Good god! I hope not!

-Have you some stuff?

Eh? Some stuff? If you mean records, not yet.

-How many concerts have you done? and what's your favorite?

I don't know. Our favorite concert... Maybe the one in Oslo, wher we were drunk as hell on stage.

-Whith whom have you played with?

Haggis, Klasse Kriminale, Short'n'Curlies, and lots of strange swedish punk bands.

-What's the mater with groups like Agent Bulldog or Ultima Thule?

Agent Bulldog is a great band, wich we really enjoy listening to. Concerning Ultima Thule I don´t really know.

-Have you any relation out of Sweden?

Yes. We are often visiting Oslo skins. And we are changing letters with Prague Bulldog Bootboys.

-What do you talk about in your songs?

Fighting and beer mostly. The old songs were sometimes about politics, but we quit politics years ago so we doesn't play most of them any more. But you must have heard all our old stuff in Mönchengladbach. A fun gig that one. We really liked to play the old stuff once more.

- Which kind of question you wouldn't liketo be asked?

A negative question, hm. Do you want to bend over?

-What do you think about apolitics?

If you mean non political skinheads. Some are good, some are bad. I think of myself aas a non political skinhead. Every skinhead haas diferent ideas about politics, but it has nothing to do with the skinhead cult. In our crew in Gotteburg, eveyone has diferent ideas. But we share one thing and that is that we don't like racism and we fight against it. I'm not talking about fascist like skinheads, because most of them have never been a true one. If politics mean more to you than skinhead cult, I think its about time you let your hair grow!

The initial idea of forming a band Otvoreni prelom (Open fracture) started well before its realization.

Somewhere in the winter of 2008 we started our first trials..We quickly begun work on our copyrighted songs! The problematic years of 1990s which brought us wars, hate, life and death in the balkan region did not bring good to anyone.But those years are well behind us now.

Our text columns speak of the abyss that we managed to pull ourselves out of us, and of repercussions, but if a person does not think with his or her head then that person becomes a victim..

We call upon everyone to stand up against any form of suppression which might be directed against us..and to make it clear that we will not be just innocent bystanders..in our text

The desire to play and to create new songs is stronger than ever and we have no intention to stop now!

No Regime

No Regime is an Alternative Punk Rock band that embraces ska, reggae and latin music in their songs. Their music focuses on social life and political issues.

The band formed in early 2009 in Los Angeles, CA and the line up consists of Jason Rea on Vocals, Enrique Suárez on Guitar, Andy Zamora on Drums and Marc Pardy on bass.

No Regime started to perform actively in Southern California after recording their first demo which featured 4 songs. One of the songs from this demo “Anguish” was featured on the Urban Shit Records compilation, a DIY label from the S.F. Valley in California and also on a UCLA Unsigned Bands compilation.

In February 2010, their first EP was released featuring 6 songs, getting positive reviews from industry professionals and respected punk related online websites. This EP is available to download for free via their myspace page. Some of the songs from this E.P. including "Anguish" and "Mr. Frilles" are constantly being played on online radio stations.

In March 2010, vocalist Jason Rea enters the band replacing Jake Yoshizaki. During the 2010 summer, the song “Anguish”, featuring Jason Rea on vocals, was selected to be part of the “Jane’s Addiction: In the Studio” Book Bonus Sampler released by Rock n’ Roll Books. In addition to that, the band shot their first music video for the song “Anguish” in Los Angeles, CA. The video was directed by Andres Arango and features Jason on vocals.

In August 2010, no Regime was a semifinalist on a Hard Rock Café competition in Las Vegas, NV, after defeating more than 20 national bands. The band has been performing different venues and events such as the Quiet Rebel Films Fundraiser, organized by this film production company based in Los Angeles, the famous Etnies Skate Park in Orange County, CA, the "Best Rock Night in Hollywood" according to the Los Angeles Times at Cinespace in Hollywood, CA among others.

The band has been writing new music, preparing the release of a new E.P. with Jason on vocals, increasing their fan base and continuously performing in Southern California.

Narcoleptic Youth

Narcoleptic Youth is a punk rock band, formed in Corona, California in either 1992, 1994, or 1996 depending on which member you ask! Their sound has been described as a mixture of early UK and US styles of punk fused with intelligent, often subliminally sarcastic lyrics which revolve around anything from modern politics to social commentary to psychological fantasy.   While they don’t immitate any one particular sound, their music has often been compared to that of groups like The Dead Kennedys, Adolescents, Subhumans, and Black Flag. The band built up a strong local following in the late 90s through playing shows with D.I., UK Subs, Youth Brigade, Fear, The Dickies, Vice Squad, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, The Misfits, Agent Orange, TSOL, The Angry Samoans, and their largest show to date opening for The Subhumans in front of 6,000 people.
     Their first release was a split album with fellow Southern California punk band The Atomic Bombs in 1997 on Nigma Records. For the following two years, the band worked non-stop on building up one of, if not the, largest fan bases out of all the current Southern California punk rock groups. During these two years, they moved up from being the “go to” direct support band for the “legends” to the headliner themselves. They also released several singles including: Classified (Cassette), The Good The Bad and the Fugly(CD), Barbi In Bondage (Pink Vinyl 7”), and Vicious Killers split with The Voids (both Black and Pink Vinyl 7”). In total, they’ve sold over 5,000 singles without any backing from a record label.
     The group ushered in the new millenium with the critically acclaimed, and self released, “How To Fake Your Death” full length album. According to lead vocalist and producer of the album, Joey Bondage, “It was not our intent, but it actually turned into a dark concept album with a slight twist of comedy. I wanted to put out an album that would silence any critic we ever had…from start to finish.” And that they certainly did! By the end of the year, they were selling out well known clubs all across Southern California such as The Glasshouse in Pomona, Chain Reaction in Anaheim, and The Showcase Theatre in Corona just to name a few.
     In 2004, Narcoleptic Youth released “Chronological Disorder”, a singles collection, which quickly became their top selling album. They also began stepping up into bigger venues opening for groups like The Dead Kennedys at The House of Blues in Anaheim, CA., TSOL at The Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, CA., The Adolescents at Soma in San Diego, CA., as well as tours all across the southwest from Sacramento, CA. to Phoenix, AZ. as direct support for groups like The Adolescents and The Adicts. In addition to these tours the band has also performed in festivals such as several dates on the Warped Tour in 2004, and a co-headlining spot on the 2004 Supercade Music Fest at the Orange Pavilion in San Bernardino with groups such as The Aquabats, Death By Stereo, Strung Out, Throwrag, and The Start.      Yet another album was released in 2004 on Galeforce Records called “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed”, a 4 song EP with two bonus track cover songs: Ignite (Damned) and Bullet (Misfits), as well as 5 live tracks from their show opening for the Subhumans back in 1998. The album was produced by Ulysses Noriega (Offspring, Beck, Lower Class Brats, Channel 3), mastered by East Bay Ray of the Dead Kennedys, and featured artwork by Pete Dee of The Adicts.

Narcoleptic Youth

While the group has gone through a few line up changes over the years, one thing has definitely remained consistent, that being their legendary live concerts which have been known to include not only top notch musical performances, but also whipped cream, cross dressing, Barbie dolls and a few other things we probably shouldn’t mention! Narcoleptic Youth continues to record and pack out venues with original members: Joey Bondage (vocals), Johnny Cat (drums), Jay sin (guitar), and newer member: Junior Mental (bass). Their latest releases are 2007’s vinyl picture disc 7” Cocktail Sword b/w Favourite Dove On Suburbia Records, produced by Ulysses Noriega and the second and final pressing of their Barbi In Bondage 7” on Dr. Strange Records in 2008. Two Narcoleptic Youth songs, “Dear John” and “Headcase” are also featured in the new Stillwater Films award winning documentary, “Punk’s Not Dead”, out now on DVD!. On April 1, 2009 Dr.Strange re-released the CLASSIC "Airplay" album which includes 2 bonus track cover songs and an interview. First 500 copies come with original CD sleaves signed by the band!

Topalovići were formed in Belgrade in august 19th 2007 when guitarist of the band Laki Topalović (Đorđe) asked bassist of the band Milutin Topalović (Aleksandar) and drummer of the band Maksimilijan Topalović (Miloš) and got confirmed answer. It all happened in time of Belgrade Beerfest. In the same time band recruited first singer Marko (member never got alias for that the band name in time he played wasn't established) that was before that a drummer in practice. Soon after the formation members had their first rehearsal in studio "Krsh" on New Belgrade in same studio they did their first cover and their first song that was taken from drummers band Gedora that was called "Komšija, govno pandursko, idi smrdi negde drugde" (translated in english "Neighbor, shit-faced copper, go stink somewhere else"). After rehearsal Marko was rejected from the band simply by never calling him. In same time Milutin lost his cellphone so the contact was weak so next rehearsal came month later in Chainsaw studio that later became their second home. In some time before that band took name Topalovići after funeral of Maksimilijan's grandmother (R.I.P.) where Maksimilijan heard anecdote about the owner of burring equipment. On the next rehearsal there was a new singer Mirko Topalović (Luka) from drummers band Gedora (thrash metal) and was quickly accepted and in that time came songs such as "Peglaćemo Brenu" (We'll kick Brena's ass), "Dezerter" (Deserter), "Ustaj Butrose" (Wake up Butros), Shmeker (Jock) and many others..

Adult Crash is a 3 man Punk Rock group from Oregon.The bands line up consist of, singer/songwriter Kyle Robinson on guitar and vocals, Erik Anderson on drums and Dan Tenn on bass. Adult Crash was formed in 2005 and recorded their first demo as a band in early 2006 titled "Burn In Heaven: The Demos" B.I.H. Demos for short. Adult Crash Recorded their first full length album in late 2006, a 10 track album self titled "Adult Crash". It was produced at Central Node productions in Eugene. Before it was compleatly finished The band released the unmaster tracks in an early release of the album. Shortly after the release of the self titled album, Adult Crash broke up. It is too early to say that Adult Crash will never perform again but they are definatly taking a break for now.

The Bristles

The Bristles is a raw punk band from Landskrona, in the south of Sweden.
The Bristles were formed in 1982, after the towns ship yard shut down.
Alongside bands like Asta Kask, Sötlimpa, Existenz, Moderat Likvidation, Noncens, EATER, Anti Cimex and many others were the Bristles the new breed of new fast bands that released mostly singles in this period, and did a lot of gigging.

The music and the lyrics were written from the back side of the 80s yuppie century; the sell out of the public recourses to the private, mass unemployment, reduction of the workers real wages, dismantling of social security, which ended in the death of the welfare state. The Bristles split up in 1985.

In 1998 they played a one-off reunion gig at Bollnäs-punken with a stand-in drummer.

The Bristles reformed in 2008, when the welfare state only is a memory. The music and the lyrics are still written from the back side of the post welfare state after the 90s steel bath; increased class distinctions, increased number of poor, the concentration of wealth, racism and crime.

The Bristles stands for solidarity and unity.

The Bristles been busy gigging in Europe since the summer of 2008, and is always looking for new gigs and new challenges.

Born in March 2003 in Bogotá Colombia, Don Tetto is one of the most popular bands in coffee country, with a call that has led to dozens of presentations and winning an MTV award.

The story of Don Tetto begins with the call for a band contest called CPS (schools of Bogotá) by youth radio station Radioactivity. This call received over 300 demos. Don Tetto ranked among the twelve bands selected to audition live in front of over a thousand people. By unanimous decision of the jury, won the competition getting to be sponsored by the radio hosts.

From there, Don Tetto presents a number of issues that began to permeate the taste of people. "I" "I'll be fine," "Solitude" led them to perform at the popular Rock Park in 2006, compared with more than 60,000 people.

With the experience gained, in 2007, and under the supervision of the prestigious producer Jorge Holguín, they released their first album "What You Do not Know," which broke sales records and become the fourth best selling album launch day Tower records in Colombia Records.

Soon his single "It happened again" positions of the main stations of the country and expanding its musical reach to regions and cities never before imagined. The musical approach Tetto Don, a punk rock with influences, seasoned with a pop that allows them to walk even on the paths of the ballad, is accepted with excitement for his countrymen and expands through the video for "It happened again" , with which they begin to draw the attention of the international market.

The opportunity for his first international tour is not long. Four months in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, and the full support of the Seal Head raton/786 U.S. music gives them an excellent promotion of their music.

I started Antiseptic with Acid at the Rock gig, at an Art School (IKJ) in Jakarta, on 1990. We used to hang out at the first Metal club in Jakarta, called Pid Pub. We used to get drunk and slamdancing for our favorite Thrash Metal bands at that club, around 1989-1990. We used to hang out and skating on the street around Pid Pub area too. We didn’t hang out with all those Metal dudes, who were more older than our ages. We were just 15-16 years old kids. We’ve got bored with Metal scene in Indonesia.

So, we’ve decided to start a new scene, it was called Hardcore Punx scene. Alcohol, Skateboarding, and Fun are our style. We shaved our heads and with two other friends, we started a new band called the Dickheads. After failed for a band’s selection at high school’s gig, I changed the name to Antiseptic, because I don’t really like the Dickheads, it was just sounds not fun for me.

Influenced by D.R.I, Suicidal Tendencies, the Misfits, Black Flag, A.M.Q.A, GG Allin, Gang Green, S.O.D, Exploited, and the Sex Pistols, we started to hit the local scene, which totally Metal at that time. Before we started, there were no Punx, Skins, and Hardcore kids in Indonesia. Our first gig was a Metal festival at Bulungan (Jakarta), on the late 1990. Thousand kids came to that gig, most of Metalheads, and about 25 bands played on the same stage at that festival. All bands were pure Thrash Metal and Death Metal bands. Only us played different, we still covered songs from our Hardcore Punx and Crossover heroes. Only 15 kids supported us at that gig, most of young useless skaters. Those Metal dudes were shocking and laughing when we were playing. Because we were different, we were Hardcore, and we were Antiseptic. Yeah right, fuck you all, what the fuck are you laughing at ?!?

After did about 10 gigs, we were keep trying to spreading Hardcore Punx to the kids in Jakarta. There was a legendary gig at Granadha on 1991. About 50 kids started a big riot when we were playing. They’re waiting for us, we’re still the only Hardcore Punx band in Indonesia at that time. We’re just to start playing our first song, and the riot started. They’re slamming hard, they’re fighting hard, and started threw all the chairs to the air. Cops came to the stage and tried to stop us playing. But the kids threw all the chairs to the cops. Damn !, that place was totally mess up. I’ve never seen any solid action of the kids at the gigs against the police until now. It was so awesome, it was our good old days. Later, we’re banned to play at any big Metal festival, hahaha !!!

We started to play at smallest gigs at school, university and any places we can play. We used to play at bicycle race on 9 o’clock in the morning. What we’ve got only burger and soda. Antiseptic is the only band who never get paid until now, we’re already happy with all fun we’ve had at any gigs we played, hahaha !!!. Month by month, we’ve got more kids supported us. They called themselves ‘the Septic Crew’. Those kids were crazy and loyal to us

On late 1995, i went to Australia and lived over there for 3 years. Josi and Rendi replaced me as the singers in the band. With two singers in the band, Antiseptic changed the music more N.Y. Hardcore. Influenced by Warzone, Agnostic Front, and Murphy’s Law, they did the most brutal gigs at that time. At Antiseptic’s gigs, Punx, Skins, Hardcore kids, Metalheads, stick and had fun together. Around 1992-1995 some hardcore punx and punkrock bands were born in Indonesia, but most of them only lived for short times. They’re just trendy Punx and Hardcore kids, they changed their music to another trendy music. They followed all the fuckin’ trends. On 1997, Antiseptic released their first album called ‘Finally’ on their own label. It used to be available on tapes for 1000 copies. It was the first D.I.Y Hardcore Punx album in Indonesia.

We didn’t realy get along with all those fashion Punx. I still remember, when the Septic Crew chased about 20 fashion Punx with mohawk, boots, and stupid swastika badges at Menteng street on 1993. We grabed one of them, and beat him up so baddd. And offcorse i still remember, when we started a big fight at the first pure Punx gig on 1995, at Bulungan (Jakarta). We beat up a leader of a fashion Punx gang, and gave alot of stitches on his head. The funny thing, he became good friend of mine long times after that incident. We didn’t hate Punx, we’re Punx, but on the different way. We’ve just hate their over acting reactions at our scene, and we’re not interested on their fuckin’ fashion. There were no Antiseptic’s gigs without violence. There were allot of fight between Punx, Skins, Hardcore kids, and Metalheads, and we fought everyone, hahaha !!!.

We’re not tough guys, we beat up tough guys. And we’re not like most of the kids in the scene, who only fought in the scene, they only had balls to fight each other, they’re nothing than stupid pieces of shit. We fought every where with every assholes. Drugs and violence were getting bigger at the Punx/Hardcore scene around 1996-1998, and it made fun at the gigs less than before. New kids tried to get attention with all those stupid things. We didn’t know where the hell they came from, they just came to the gigs for a fight and looking for attentions, they didn’t know anything about Hardcore Punx, they just dressed up as Punx, Skins, and Hardcore kids. Metalheads went away from our scene, and stayed at their own Metal scene because of that.

Rendi went to jail on 1999, and the band asked me to joined Antiseptic again. When we played at Jayabaya university on 1999, i was shocked. There were about 500 kids supported us. Damn !!, it was totally different with when i used to sing in the band before, which only had maximum 50 kids supported us. Yeah right ! our struggle to spreading hardcore punx in Indonesia was successful, specially in Jakarta. On 2004 we released our second album, it was called ‘Call it what ever you want’ on Jealous Again records. It was available on tapes for 300 copies only. Black stayed in jail on 2005, not so long after our second album out.

Time is changing so fast. Hardcore Punx is so fuckin’ big in Indonesia right now. Thousands Hardcore Punx bands were born, Hardcore Punx became a new trend over here. Some “Punx” of today gave allot of shit about us. But, we didn’t give a fuck !!!. They weren’t there when Hardcore Punx was born in Indonesia. They didn’t know anything about us from the beginning, how hard we survived, how hard we fought to built this scene. They didn’t know any shit about those story, fuck them all !!!. We’re like them too when we’re 18. Gave the other people allot of shit. So, who cares anyway. If they want to against us or wanna make trouble with us, they supposed to did that 15 or 10 years ago. Where the hell all of you on 1990 ’til 1997 ?. I think all of you still stayed at school, and just learned how to masturbating. I think all of you still listened for Bon Jovi or something. We have more brain right now, we’re changing allot, and we’re not 18 anymore. So, fuck off !!!

I like to dedicate this story to the kids in the scene of today, and to our loyal crew ‘the Septic Crew’ from the beginning. I’ll never forget all the great great fun we’ve had for about 18 years. Antiseptic did hundreds gigs around Indonesia until today and still play fast and loud hardcore punx. The unique thing about Antiseptic is the band always did something every 7 years. Started on 1990, first album on 1997, second album on 2004, and i think this band will break up on 2011, hahaha !!!

From Derbyshire, England, Anti-Pasti were part of the commercially successful but critically reviled third wave of punk of the early 80s. The group were formed from local outfit the Scrincers, and comprised Dugi Bell (guitar), Martin Roper (lead vocals), Russell Maw and Eddie Barke. Barke and Maw soon quit, the latter going on to play for the Allies, Aftermath UK and the Egyptian Kings. With the addition of Stu Winfield (bass) and Stan Smith (drums), they released a debut EP, Four Sore Points, on their own Dose label. Winfield and Smith were then replaced by Kev Nixon and Will Hoon before the group signed to the punk/heavy metal label Rondelet Records in 1980, releasing "Let Them Free" in January 1981. Later that year, Anti-Pasti released their debut album, The Last Call, which reached the UK Top 30. Their growing profile was confirmed when a third single, "Six Guns', appeared at the end of the year and reached number 1 in the UK Independent chart, as did the successful joint venture with Oi! punk legends the Exploited on a 12-inch single EP, Don't Let "Em Grind You Down. "East To The West", released in 1982, preceded the last Anti-Pasti album and single, both titled "Caution To The Wind", which featured Will Noon's brother Ollie on guitar. A self-titled singles retrospective surfaced a year later, but the group split in 1984 following the firing of Roper. There was a reunion in 1995, leading to mini-tours of Britain and Germany.

Reagen Youth

David Rubinstein was born in 1964. He formed "Reagan Youth" with guitarist Paul Bakija when both were in high school in Rego Park, Queens. While they were still in high school, the band played the punk clubs of Manhattan. In fact, David's science teacher became a roadie for the band (That high school teacher was so into the punk scene that he shaved his head and as a result almost go fired by the school administration).

As the members graduated from high school, Reagan Youth was performing regularly at C.B.G.B.'s and an established band on the country's budding punk rock scene. They recorded a single, then an album. They toured cross-country many times, performing with all of the great hard-core punk bands of that era. At the "Rock Against Racism" shows in the early 1980s, Reagan Youth shared the bill with the Dead Kennedys, the Bad Brains, and others.

Reagan Youth recorded its first album and signed a simple contract, hand-written on the back of a poster for a gig. That album sold over forty thousand (40,000) copies. The band also appeared on several compilations albums, including Live at C.B.G.B.'s. They were a mainstay at C.B.G.B.'s Sunday afternoon hard-core matinee concerts.

Reagan Youth's music was ironic and political. They preached the gospel of "peace punk." David was known as "Dave Insurgent." The name "Reagan Youth" was ironic, given David's family background as holocaust survivors. The cover of their 2nd LP featured a photo of Hitler shaking hands with an emissary of the Pope. Their song titles included "Jesus Was A Communist" and "New Aryans."

By the late 1980s, the members of Reagan Youth were frustrated and worn out from years of touring and drug abuse. They had never made any money in the music industry. When Ronald Reagan left the White House, they officially disbanded. David and several other band members continued to play music together, although their new group never achieved the same success or momentum as Reagan Youth.

By this time as well, David had developed a serious heroin addition. He was also dealing drugs, although he was not very shrewd at it. David had the bad habit of consuming the drugs he was supposed to be selling. He was a loudmouth. When a supplier would ask him for money that was owed, David would sometimes reply, "You'll get you money when I say you get it."

In a drug deal gone bad, another drug dealer violently beat up David with a baseball bat. He was hospitalized for weeks. When he got out, he returned to his parents' home. There, he continued to use drugs, smoking pot in his bedroom as his parents tried to help him recover. Eventually David left his parents' home and moved back to the lower East Side. By now, between the violent assault and his continued drug use, he was no longer an energetic anarchist. He had become a bit disheveled, and many of his friends from the punk scene no longer associated with him.

David began dating Tiffany B., a prostitute who worked on Houston Street. David had told his parents that she was a dancer. Tiffany supported the couple and their drug habit by turning tricks. David would often hang out on the street with Tiffany, waiting while she serviced a customer, and then going with her to score drugs.

Around this time, David's mother died in a freak car accident. One night, David and Tiffany were waiting on Houston Street when a familiar customer pulled up in a pick-up truck. Tiffany got in, telling David that she would return in twenty minutes. She never came back. David called the police with a description of the truck and went to all the hospital emergency rooms in the city searching for Tiffany. A few days later, on Long Island, the police pulled over a truck and found Tiffany's body in the bank. They arrested the driver, Joel Rifkin, Long Island's most famous serial killer, who was later linked to killing numerous prostitutes.

Depressed and alone, after the unexpected losses of his girlfriend and his mother, David headed into a downward spiral. One month later, David Rubenstein p/k/a "Dave Insurgent" committed suicide.

The Partisans

1978 Shark and Lealand attend the same comprehensive School, and form a band, inspired by the Sex Pistols, Clash, Buzzcocks, e.t.c.

1979 Spike joins the band as vocalist/guitarist, the band go into the studio and record their first demo, mainly cover songs, Pretty Vacant-Sex Pistols, Wasted Life-Stiff Little Fingers, Times Up-Buzzcocks, Belson was a Gas-Sex Pistols, I Don't Give a fuck-The Partisans, No Time-The Partisans. The band play a few small local gigs in the Wales area, mainly covers

1980 Louise joins the band as Bass Player, and the band lock themselves up in the rehearsal studio.

1981 The band go in the studio and make their second demo, all their own material, Police Story, Killing Machine, Don't Blame Us, No U Turns I don't Give a Fuck, Arms Race. The demo is sent into Sounds, Blitz, Chron Gen, Abrasive Wheels and the Ejected demos were also reviewed, the Partisans get the title for the best demo.....

No Future receive demo same week, the band is contacted immediately and sign contract, Police Story is released and receives rave reviews, and enters the indie charts at no 5. The fall arrives and the Partisans are asked to appear on Carry On Oi, they do 2 tracks, Arms Race and No U Turns, Infa Riot are in the studio at the same time and help out on the backing vocals.

November the band play in Sheffield with Blitz, Infa Riot, and the Business

1982 17 Years of Hell is released and enters the indie charts, the production is weak and the band are disappointed, they play the 100 Club in London and go down well, then play the Lyceum with Blitz, Peter and The Test Tube Babies, and Red Alert. Lealand leaves the band and moves to London but is obliged by contract to record an album for No Future, The Partisans record their first album, unrehearsed and unprepared, the production and songs could have been much better. Lealand returns to London, Shark and Spike follow, Louise stays in Wales, so the band continue with out her, and employ Dave Parsons on Bass.

1983 By now the band have been on numerous compilation albums, but are without a label, Lol Pryor (Business manager) signs the band to his label and Blind Ambition is released, does not get too much push, or publicity, but is played on prime time radio, between a Michael Jackson record and a Paul Mcartney record, there were many who thought it was the best single the band had done. Colin from CONFLICT is in recording studio and asks the band if they wanna play in Brixton with them, the band respect the offer and agree, the band find go down extremely well in front of a anarcho audience. Shortly afterwards the partisans and Dave split ways, Dave later joins Transvision Vamp and Bush.

1984 The band are playing better than ever and are comfortable being a trio, the music verges more and more towards the Clash, most of the other bands of their era have turned into hard rock bands or split up. The Partisans remain punk if not a touch poppy, and go into the studio to record The Time Was Right, but the record label want to rush release an album, the band don't have enough songs, so a live side is included, the album is a catastrophe, the wrong mixes are released, the vocals are lost on "The Time Was Right" and the newer version of "I Never Needed You", its the bands fault, they had been smoking hash in the studio, and had become sloppy at the mixing desk. The album doesn't sell too well, due to many things, not much publicity, not much of a market anymore....

1985 The band never split up, it just seemed to fizzle out, lack of interest from its members.

1999 Lealand has been unemployed for a good few years and the state decide to rehabilitate him, he chooses a web design course as his line of interest, and during his lessons enters the word "Partisans" in alta vistas search box. Shocked and stunned he finds Captain Oi Records have released "a best of" and a reissue of "The Time Was Right", he contacts the company and it turns out that the Partisans are very much are alive and kicking, or at least as far as reissues are concerned, he decides to do a web page about the band, and not before long it has over a thousand visitors in 2 months, mail after mail indicates that the Partisans are missed and very much alive in New York, in Paris, in Seattle, in Japan, in ....The band is asked to reform and play the hits festival, there was no band to talk of, Lealand contacts Shark in Singapore, but due to other duties Shark cant make it, Spike thinks its ridiculous to get back together, but would like to think about it.

2000 The Partisans reform, this time in Gothenburg, Sweden, Lealand finds a drummer and bass player and enters the rehearsal room. All new songs are sent to Spike in Cardiff, and he does his bit infront of a tape recorder in the shower. Spike comes over to Gothenburg in September and they play their first live gig in Sweden in front of a hysterical audience.

2001 The Partisans play the Holidays in The Sun festivals in England and release their first single in over 17 years. The "Hysteria Ep" is released on the Partisans own label, and tko release it in America under the name of "So Neat".

GBH

GBH started to play in 1980 in Birmingham. After one year (1981) they got signed to the record label "Clay Records". And they released the 12" "Leather, Bristles, Studs & Acne", and short therafter they released the two 7" records "No Survivors" and "Sick Boy". In 1982 Clay collected the 12" and the 7" singles and released them on the debut album "Leater, Bristles, No Survivors and Sick Boy", the same year they also released the LP "City Baby Attacked By Rats" and in 1983 they released the LP "City Babys Revenge" with the subtitle "101 ways to kill a rat". Under this period GBH hade their musical big time. They also released the singles "Catch 23 / Hellhole" and "Give me fire / Mantrap". But then something happen. In 1984 they released the 12" single "Do What You Do" and then in 1986 the LP "Midnight Madness And Beyond". Those album was really horrible. GBH had left the label "Clay Records" and signed on to "Rough Justice", and just like all punk bands in the middle of the 80´s, they had flipped out totally. They didnt bother to do punk songs like they used to with aggression and feeling. GBH continued to release horrible records such as "No Need To Panic" in 1987, "Wot A Bargin" in 1988, "A Fridge To Far" in 1989, "From Here To Reality" in 1990 and "Church Of The Truly Wraped" in 1992. Not many people liked the shit that GBH had put out the last years, and very few people thought that they could release an album that would remind more of the "City baby.." albums, then the punk/metal crap they have done the last years. After they released "Church.." they went out on a tour for 2 years. And after that "Rough Justice" did´nt want to make a new record deal because GBH had kicked their manager. And Rough Justice said that they must have a manager to get signed. And after looking for a new record deal for some years GBH got signed to the German record label "We Bite" and after a while came the new album "Punk Junkies" out and thats the best album they´ve done since 1983.

GBH released many albums and singles but their most succesfull albums are the LP City Baby Attacked By Rats and the following up LP City Baby's Revenge.

DR.CHUD. that name alone strikes fear and disgust to those unlucky enough to know it. Who is he? Where did he come from? Well I am going to try and piece together his checkered and quite bloody past. Most of you have heard of the abominable Doctor due to the 6 years he spent with the legendary punk rock group known as The Misfits but there is far more to this story than that. On April 4th, 1964 this world was unfortunate enough to witness the birth of DR.CHUD, named after the movie that would be made some 20 years later with the acronym Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Drummer!

He started playing drums in 6th grade, by 8th grade he started playing in local bands around town. When he was in high school he started taking lessons from Les DeMerle, Sonny Igoe, and finally Dennis Delucia, joining DCI (Drum Corp International) in 1983 with The Bayonne Bridgemen. In 1985 DR.CHUD started playing the club circuit for a few original rock bands until his professional musical career started as the lead skin basher for Dan Kidney and the Pulsations. For 8 years he terrorized audiences with the Pulsations until the band broke away and DR.CHUD latched onto Sardonica featuring Sal Bee and Fish. DR.CHUD at this time also started a side-project known as Sacred Trash where he wrote, played guitar and even sang on the bands debut and only release. The band was sort of a warm up of things to come. Playing hard hitting horrorrock fit DR.CHUD well and when the call came from Jerry Only of The Misfits for DR.CHUD to join up, he answered back with an affirmative "yes". Then things began to move in a horrifically fast gear.

1996 saw a world-wide "resurrection tour" and almost immediately following that tour The Misfits were in the studio recording the bands first record in roughly 20 years for Geffen Records. The record was to be called "American Psycho" and featured quite a few songs penned by DR.CHUD. 2 years, numerous tours, (with acts like Megadeth, Marilyn Manson & Anthrax to name a few), singles, and a live record produced by DR.CHUD passed. Then the group hit the studio again this time for RoadRunner Records, and the album was "Famous Monsters". About the same time DR.CHUD and fellow Misfit Jerry Only recorded "1969" with Joey Ramone for a Iggy Pop tribute record "They Will Fall", the track was later used on the late Joey Ramone's only solo record entitled "Don't Worry About Me". After 6 years with the group, 2 studio records, 1 live recording, appearances in such hit films as "Animal Room", "Bruiser", "Campfire Stories" and "Big Money Hustlas", and even time spent as a WCW wrestler, DR.CHUD walked away to form a new group. (After there depature however The Misfits released "Cuts From The Crypt" on RoadRunner Records, a collection of rarities and unreleased tracks).

In 2001 DR.CHUD formed Graves and it was off the ground almost 1 year later to the date that DR.CHUD left The Misfits (10/25/00). Within 1 years time the group arranged 2 nation-wide tours. Immediately following the 1st tour known as "Web Of Dharma (Strand 1)" the band hit the studio to record a CD of the same name. DR.CHUD produced and distributed the record through his own record company, the second leg of the "Dharma" tour took place in 2002 and the band disbanded shortly after causing mass panic and chaos as to what the Doc would be doing next.

It's 2003 and his antidote for punk rock terror known as Dr.Chud’s X-Ward explodes across the U.S. and Canada! DR.CHUD"s solo band is born and his 2004 solo debut “Diagnosis for Death” becomes a classic in the horrorpunk underworld. DR.CHUD would take his band across the U.S. every year proving why he is the leader in the horrorpunk world today.

In 2008 DR.CHUD gets a call to play drums to complete Gorgeous Frankenstein a group consisting of Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, Graham Reaper, Alex Story and Gorgeous George. The band is currently working on there second release due out this year on evilive records produced by Glenn Danzig,

The Oppressed

The Oppressed was a Welsh anti-fascist Oi! band that was formed in 1981 in Cardiff and split up in 2006. Most of the musicians in the band's various lineups were skinheads. Throughout the band's career, the members (especially vocalist Roddy Moreno) openly expressed opposition to racism and fascism -- in their lyrics, interviews, on-stage comments and other actions. In 1989, Moreno visited New York City and met many members of Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (SHARP). On his return to the United Kingdom, he started promoting SHARP ideals to British skinheads. The band has also had ties to other anti-racist groups, such as Anti-Fascist Action. Moreno is a Cardiff City F.C. supporter, and some of the band's songs express that support.

Beginning in 2006 the band was formed, starting from a side project by Dandu with Tooth and assisted by Fadly and Racoon, then formed Oldschool hardcore band that has a background concept or straight edge. Of each personnel and song lyrics that conveyed more leads to a positive attitude in daily life in their neighborhood. Inspired by the music of Rykers, Shut Down, Champion and Sick of It All. They formed this band, and named xBetter Mindx. And at that moment stood xBMx official, with initial personnel: Tooth (VOC), Dandu (guitar) Racoon (bass) and Fadly (drums).

But in early 2007, Racoon resigned from xBMx and later replaced by Tito fill the bass position. And in mid-2007, they already have 8 songs ready to be the first EP from xBMx, but with financial problems, their EP is not so made. But it has 8 songs they recorded and 3 samples of their songs, "over the limit", "live catastrophe" and "drug free youth" can you to listen and download on their official myspace. And they are hoping for the following years, they can make EP with no more financial problems and others.

Personnel turnover again in mid-2008, Tooth (VOC) resigned from xBMx. With no front line they kept looking for a replacement and that would also set back from the band was formed with the concept of straight edge of each personnel. And after a long search for a vacuum with a new front line, then in April 2009 Ryan became the new VOC xBMx. With this change of front line, the concept of their music also changes and plans for a demo recording for the next sample. They returned to line up new xBMx: Ryan (VOC), Dandu (guitar), Tito (bass) and Fadly (drums). so true n stay clean brotha, thx!

THE EARLY YEARS-1978 In Orange County, beach cities were churning out fast raw cutting edge punk rock with a unique distinct sound. Standard four verse, four chorus patterns were now giving way to more innovative style’s created in Huntington Beach. During this time, 1978 there were approximately nine bands creating this beach city sound with varying numbers of fans following each group. The scene was divided into two distinct groups: "Day Glo" punks and the "Black Jacket" punks.

South of Beach Blvd near Pacific Coast Highway was the small Surfside community which fielded two bands: The Outsiders (a.k.a The Fucked) and The Slashers spawning a violent form of beach city punk rock. Still, further south near Brookhurst Street and Bushard Ave, were Day-Glo elements of The Crowd and The Voyeurs and the fans were predominately surf punks. Between these two scenes, various other bands formed in the Shorecrest West area of Burke Tract. From here, you would find bands like The Klan and The Screwz and The Idols, Non-Fascists and Fourth Reich. It was from here, the talent was drawn from to eventually form up a band, Sisunik: would dub the phrase “Social Task”. Edison High School, became the median ground zero for hundreds of beach city punk rockers which by 1980 numbered nearly 600 in one high school of about 5,000 students. From this fan base, Punk Rock organized elements into consolidated fan base, to defend against the growing threat of Hippie and Jock related violence. “Crop Dusters” and “Rock Patrol” roving about the Beach cities was a real problem for our scene at that time. Thus, the name “Social Task” was born. With increased street violence drawing the attention of local law enforcement, unprecedented profiling of punk rockers was now unfolding into downright police harassment. So, it seemed in the face of these threats, most of the fan base began to make the trek north into the Los Angeles club scene. In those days, there was competition in the Slam pits for domination with neighboring cities of which the Beach city reputation for violence began to spread like wildfire. By 1979, The Outsiders, The Klan, The Idols, Fourth Reich, The Slashers and Non-Fascists had broken up and many of the members were now forging new concepts brought back from the L.A. scene. It was from this new concept, that bands like China White, The Blades, and Social Task had sprung out creating a new sound melded with elements of previous composition written to create that very unique and distinctive Beach city (Orange County) sound. Don Snell, had just left The Idols and began collaborating with Jeff Milucky, and John Blake and working on some new songs and trying out several singers. Meanwhile, Slashers vocalist Scott Sisunik, had been in The Non-Fascists and forming up the earliest China White lineup with Frank Ruffino and Marc Martin, and introduced James Rodriquez and Skitch-blade.

Social Task proved to be short lived and disbanded around the beginning of 1981. In December of 1979, the band recorded a five song demo at Adamo's Audio which was a studio used by Warner Brothers. The band left the reel at Adamo's Audio and forgot all about it for years. Fast forward to 2007 and the discovery that Adamo's Audio was still in business and actually still had the reel! Artifix Records began making plans with Social Task to bake and transfer the reel and put it out on vinyl.

Crass

Crass was formed in 1977, the environment around Dial House, an 'open community' near Epping, Essex town, in the UK. With songs from the Sex Pistols, anarchism became expense of self-awareness nihilis, but Crass up to deal directly with the socialist liberation and became a communal variety of political thought in the 20th century.

With a manifesto of punk, "Do It Yourself", uniting the utility of Crass songs, films, collage sounds, images and movement to bring criticism subversion innovative and sustainable against everything that they see as a culture built the basis of war, violence, sexisme, religious hypocrisy and excessive consumerism. They also fight with the people anarcho-pacifist which became a huge movement in the environment of punk music.
Crass beginning

The band was formed when the founder of Dial House and a former member of EXIT group, a group performance art avant-garde, Penny Rimbaud (real name Jerry Ratter) began playing music together a Clash fan Steve Ignorant, who was staying at Dial House. Together they recorded the song "So What? 'And' Do They owe Us a Living?" Which they call drums and vocal duet. For a very short time they call themselves Stormtrooper, before choosing the name of Crass, which is taken from the David Bowie song, 'Ziggy Stardust' (especially the lyrics that mention 'The kids was just Crass'). Other members of the house began to involve himself in the band, and it lasted quite a while before Crass playing in his first performance as a filler show 'Squatted street festival at Huntley Street, North London. Not long after that they started playing in the legendary punk club, Roxy in the area of Covent Garden, London. With money from his own band, making them a disaster from the drunks, and ended with the rejection of the appearance on stage, which is enshrined in their song "Banned from the Roxy 'and Rimbaud's essay' Crass at the Roxy '. Show-show options, including their first regular performances by the UK Subs in the White Lion pub in Putney. Show-show was watched by fewer people; "The audience is usually just us when the Subs played, and only the Subs when we played.", Said Penny Rimbaud.

Not long after that, the band decided to play more seriously, give more in view of their appearance. By avoiding drugs, alcohol and marijuana prior to their appearance on the stage, they also adapt the political thoughts of the use of black clothes, clothing styles that tend to the military, nor on the stage of everyday dikehidupan. They also introduced the use of a stage backdrop, a logo drawn by a friend of Rimbaud, Dave King (which of Sleeping Dogs Lie), as shown on the back cover of the album The Feeding Of The 5000. This made the band famous with his military force, which led some to accuse them of a fascist band. Crass said that their black uniform appearance was intended to be a statement against the "cult of personality", with it, so that in contrast to most other rock bands, no member would be referred to as the leader of the band.

Band logo displayed on the back of the stage represents a mixture of several "icons of authority, including the cross of Christianity, the swastika and the British Union flag combined with the image the two-headed snake consuming itself (to illustrate that power will eventually self-destruct) . Writing a political message is also one of the Crass strategies to convey their views as a "diatribe contradictory", as well as the use of loud music and aggressive to convey the messages of their pacifism, the works of art that refers to them according Dadaisme himself also took part and also performance art as a backdrop.

The band also uses the stage lights to enhance their appearance, they do not use a simple stage lights (only one color). Crass also a pioneer in the use of tools in multi-media platform, using video technology systems and use the films as well as the stage backdrop collage-video collage made by Mick Duffield and Gee Vaucher to help maximize their performances on stage.

Crass Records

Crass' first release was The Feeding Of The 5000, a 12-inch EP 45 rpm contains 18 tracks from the Small Wonder label in 1978. The workers that the company initially refused to handle it because of the lyrical content is very contradictory in the song "Reality Asylum". The album was eventually released with the removal of the song and replaced with silence for 2 minutes, and substitute the song ironically titled "The Sound Of Free Speech '. This incident prompted Crass to set his own record label, Crass Records, in order to bring the full album, and "Reality Asylum" was eventually released after a 7-inch single was recorded again. Mold album 'The Feeding of The 5000' by Crass Records show that the previous song was not included.

Like the albums of their own material, Crass Records released another album done by another artist, the album's first single released was "You Can Be You" by Honey Bane in 1980, a young girl who was staying at Dial House whilst on the run from children's home. Other artists included Zounds, Flux Of Pink Indians, rudimentary Peni, Conflict, Icelandic KUKL band (which included votes from Björk), classical singer Jane Gregory, and the Poison Girls, a band that has the same thoughts as Crass and has cooperate in every way over the years with Crass.

They also put out three editions of Bullshit Detector, compilations of demos and rough recordings which had been sent by the bands there, and they think the compilation is a punk DIY work ethic really is.

A number listed in all the Crass records release in order to display the countdown to the year 1984 (eg, 521,984 which means "five years to 1984"), Crass said that in that year they would disperse, taking from the date of the novel George Orwell which they believe to be the date of the victory of anti-authoritarian movement.

Crass issued a third album they are, 'Penis Envy', in 1981. This album marks the beginning of the presence of what is called the testosterone-driven 'hardcore punk' image formation of the 'Feeding of the 5000' and the development of the 'Stations of the Crass' the world has given recognition for their keeksistensian. The album featured musical arrangements more complex and female voices by Eve Libertine and Joy De Vivre (although Steve Ignorant remained a member of the group and also written on the cover of this album, but he did not follow the recording sessions for this album Crass) .

Crass also gave feminist issues and once again attacked the government institutions such as marriage and sexual repression. In one song, a song parody of 'MOR' love song entitled 'Our Wedding', given away for free on the magazine flexi disc in a romantic young girl, after the magazine was offered to distribute the song by an organization calling itself "Creative Recording And Sound Services "(see initials). Controversy in the tabloids that make them more sound movement, also coupled with the News of the World which claimed so far that the title of the song too fulgar for release.

Fourth LP album of Crass's double set album entitled 'Christ the Album' in 1982, took over a year to record, produce and mix, during which time the Falklands War happened and ended. This prompted Crass to fundamentally question the approach in making these recordings. As a group whose commitment to raise political issues, they feel that they have brought their message and appearance redundant by the existence of real events in the world. A further post-Falklands war were the members of Crass make their presence more attention, with a KGB agent activity of Ronald Reagan Administration. With the recording, known as 'the Thatchergate tapes', a cassette featuring a faked conversation using voice samples from Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagans, who talked about their plan that the Europeans will be used as a target of nuclear weapons in the event of conflict between America and the Union Soviets. Recordings are spread among the public a lot, even though no Crass label in it, somehow the British newspaper the Observer can connect the voice recording with Crass.

The dissolution of Crass

Crass finally stopped appearing in public after becoming a serious threat to the government of Margaret Thatcher after the Falklands War. Pete Wright concentrated on building himself a houseboat and formed the performance art group Judas 2, and Rimbaud continued to write and perform both solo and with other artists.
Crass influences

Philosophical and aesthetic influence of Crass art in most of the punk band in the 1980s could no longer be denied, although a few bands mimicked their style of music at the last moment (like on the album 'Yes Sir, I Will' and their latest recording, '10 Notes on a Summer's Day '). Crass said that the influence of music they are more likely to take the form of traditional rock music, as well as classical music (especially music of Benjamin Britten, which Rimbaud declared, a few riffs from songs by Crass imitate him all the music), works of art Dada and the avant-garde such as John Cage also made performances of traditional art. Painting and collage, black and white collage on the cover of their album by Gee Vaucher become a model of modern art aesthetic.

In November 2002 several former members of Crass collaborated under the name The Crass Collective to arrange Your actions Country Needs You, a music concert that raised "the voices against the war" which was held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, South Bank, London, including the appearance of the performer Britten's War Requiem. In October 2003, the Crass Collective changed their activities to Crass Agenda, and they continued their performances on a regular basis. During 2004 Crass Agenda campaign to save the Vortex Jazz Club in Stoke Newington, north London, which has now relocated to Hackney. In June 2005, Crass Agenda was declared, and changed its name to sound more appropriate, Last Amendment.

The worst singer in the city of Mainz Michel, running aimlessly through the streets and look for another job. Right at the beginning of 1998 separates the Untergangskommando from guitarist Steffen and starts the "Partisan Tour", the band races over many weekends through Germany. In between the vinyl EP "You get what you deserve" was added.

Summer 98: The band steals an emergency power generator and begins to aufzukreuzen without notice at festivals and playing in front of the door. You get what you deserve! The demise command draws a week with friends and acquaintances by South German pedestrian zones and plays with emergency generator before each approximately 200 onlookers. To 2,800 miles in 9 days, the Volume 21 times encountered the police. The band passes unnoticed in the fundus of a theater clothes and begins to dress tastefully for the concerts.

You get what you deserve! With the "Basement Ghost" and "Bastards Beezy" plays Untergangskommando 7 official concerts in Germany and irritated the visitors by wearing police uniforms. Common Enemy comes straight out of Reading, Pennsylvania. Bringing you songs about skateboarding, horror movies, everyday life, and personal politics.

In 1998 the band was formed, under a different name and with various lineup changes. In 2000 the name was changed to Common Enemy and with this lineup recorded "Outsiders".

In 2003 when Sonic and Greg Disorder joined the band, Common Enemy was truely born. Right away a tight bond was formed and everyone became more serious about playing out and having fun! With this lineup Common Enemy recorded the "Late Night Skate" CD, "Let's Have Fun!" 7” EP, Eyes of Hate / Common Enemy "Circle Pit Split" 7”, The Twats vs. Common Enemy "One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall" split 7" and have tracks on various compilations nationally and internationally. This lineup was also responsible for an East Coast / Midwest tour, a Midwest tour, a European tour, and too many extensive short / weekend tour stretches in the Northeast, Mid Atlantic, and Eastern Midwest to mention.

In April 2006 Sonic left the band to pursue education in Recording Arts in FL. In his place, longtime friend Mikey stepped in to take over on vocals. With Mikey, Common Enemy recorded another full length CD entitled "T.U.I.", and also has tracks on various compilations as well. This lineup is also responsible for a Southern U.S. tour, planning on a second European tour this May 2007, and more non-stop, unrelenting and extensive short / weekend tour schedules.

In 2007 Mikey decided to leave the band for personal reasons. Sonic had just returned home from school and filled in for 2nd European tour. He also recorded some songs for Common Enemy / L.E.A.R.N. "Till Death" split 7".

The band is best known for their in your face music style and in July of 2007 tryouts for a new singer began. With amazing luck, they came across Gary who fit the role perfectly. With Gary taking the helm, they have recorded "Common Enemy vs. Everybody's Enemy" CD (released in Japan), one 4 way split CD released in Europe, and various compilations nationally and internationally! Playing whenever possible, writing a new full length CD, and getting ready for their 3rd invasion of Europe in Sept 2008, this band kicks you in your teeth!

In the beginning was Djihad, 1997. In the beginning was the young devotee 5 The Exploited, Total Chaos, & the Casualties: Roy, Oche, Dekha, Solir & Konok.
After the release of they're album as much as 750 pieces (cassettes) in 1999, "Invisible Justice", which in fact is a very good response from Punk Rock Bali scene as well as invited and participates in local legendary compilation album "100% Attitude" (with Superman Is Dead, Emocore revolver, Commercial Suicide, & Victory); Djihad then transformed into the Dji Hard. And at almost the same time, two personnel, Solir & Konok, resigned which was later replaced by Houten (guitar). Yes, the Dji Hard now live with 4. But their fame as a veteran Punk Rock Bali (mainly in the peninsula of Chaos Punk, Anarcho Punk, and the like) have reached a high level. Marginal Man was a hardcore punk band that emerged in the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene in 1983. Some members of Marginal Man played earlier in Artificial Peace, a band which appears on Dischord Records’ important Flex Your Head compilation, an essential document of the 1980’s D.C. punk scene. They played for five years before a final performance at the 9:30 Club in 1988.

Members of the band included:

They released one EP, Identity (Dischord 13), an LP in 1984 called Double Image (Gasatanka/Enigma) and appeared on the compilations, State of the Union and 20 Years of Dischord (Dischord 125).

Marginal Man were known for energetic live performances, with long haired lead singer Polcari leaping into the air, displaying a more “rock” style than many bands in D.C. They were also a precursor to today’s “emo” scene, with shows interrupted on occasion by a grief stricken Pete Murray who could break down with thoughts of a friend who’d committed suicide. Unlike the lower class punks of the U.K, or blue collar roots elsewhere, many D.C bands like Marginal Man had family links to solid middle & upper class establishment instituitions, their shows were attended on occasion by guitarist Inouye’s father for example, a prominent Senator from Hawaii. Although Marginal Man and many other bands of this era were neither as commercially sucessful, long-lived nor as memorable as such bands as Minor Threat, such lesser-known bands are considered by some to be more representative of the energy, spontaneity, and communal feeling of the time.

Mutant X by the name of the song they brought their favorite band. Along with the passage of time they felt a lack of Mutant X Indonesia. Finally elected as the bars that represent their names when called up on stage.

With tajug Harvest Live Recording 4 bars along with Puppen, Forgotten and Blind To See doing a show recorded live at Dago Tea House on 2001 indoor planned to be released in the form of tapes, CDs and VCDs.

At the end of 2003, the last formation of bars Aldonny "Themfuck", Heru, Robby, Sanny and Gigi had finished the song material for the third album. After going through the process of negotiations and sign contracts with one independent recording companies, eventually in August 2004 their album named "3rd" successful album released exclusively by Subciety Records. The album contains 13 songs with the material and feel very different from their previous albums. As Heat up the underground scene in Indonesia, recently completed Bars Video Clips for Single Fight. But after our own identity began to grow in a community that is solid enough, eventually we had to be abandoned by one of our guitarists is Heru, and while to fill the emptiness that position was replaced by Ayi as additional. Line-ups still survive until now, and is now in the process of preparation for making video clips of songs some of the material in the "3rd" album.

The (International) Noise Conspiracy

With roots in five different bands, the (International) Noise Conspiracy formed during the latter half of 1998 in Umeå, Sweden. The quintet set out to use its music as an attack against capitalist culture at large by taking the universal idea of popular culture and molding the basis of its phenomenon into statements of resistance. As for the music, the band created a hybrid of garage rock and 1960s soul mixed with the punk of the late 1970s. Since its formation, the (International) Noise Conspiracy has released a handful of 7" records and full-length albums, several of which were recorded with veteran producer Rick Rubin.

Fascinated by singer/songwriter Phil Ochs' assertion that "the perfect rock outfit would be a combination of Elvis and Che Guevara," guitarist/vocalist Lars Strömberg and lead vocalist Dennis Lyxzén decided to start a group in the fall of 1998 that would make a reality of that statement. Lyxzén had just witnessed the implosion of his former hardcore band, Refused, and was hungry to start anew with a group that could use its music as a political vehicle. Strömberg, who was performing with the Umeå punk band Separation, shared Lyxzén's ideals, and the duo set out to hunt down more members to join the project. They found a bassist in their friend Inge Johansson (of the Umeå-based art/noise band the Female Anchor of Sade), and the (International) Noise Conspiracy properly took shape upon the dual addition of guitarist/organist Sara Almgren and drummer Ludwig Dahlberg, both of whom were performing with the political rock band Saidwas. (Prior to Saidwas, Almgren had made a name for herself playing guitar with the Umeå metal outfit Doughnuts.)

With their lineup in place, the (International) Noise Conspiracy stepped into the studio in 1999 to record 12 songs. The tracks were released as a series of five 7" records later that year on four different labels, including the band's own The Black Mask Collective, as well as Premonition, Car Crash, and Trans Solar Records. The majority of the tracks that comprised these 7"s were then presented on the band's first full-length LP, The First Conspiracy, released later that same year on the G-7 Welcoming Committee imprint. The band members also kept busy with side projects; specifically, Lyxzén released a full-length album, titled Songs in the Key of Resistance and a self-titled 7" record with his band the Lost Patrol. The style and message of the latter group remained in much the same vein as that of the (International) Noise Conspiracy. Johansson also kept his hands full with his other band the Female Anchor of Sade, which released the 10" "Tanks to Everyone."

The (International) Noise Conspiracy returned in May 2000 to release their second full-length album, Survival Sickness, on Burning Heart Records. The band also brokered a deal with the CA-based punk label Epitaph Records to distribute the album in the United States. First Conspiracy appeared in early 2001 and was met with a mixed reaction due to its heavy political content. Later that year, the Capitalism Stole My Virginity EP saw a more amicable reception due to the growing interest in the Scandanavian rock scene from American garage rock fans. In the spring of 2003, the band released Bigger Cages, Longer Chains, an EP that included several videos and was significantly short on political messages. Sara Almgren left the lineup soon after, but good luck loomed around the corner as legendary producer Rick Rubin signed the group to his own label, American Recordings. The soulful, Rubin-produced Armed Love appeared in Europe in 2004, while its American release followed nearly a year later. As ten years ago, “Begundal Lowokwaru” was just chatter of Indra Binatang and Ustad Chipeng, that revolution isn’t meant to be done in either big city or metropolis, everything can be started; depend on what we have to start first. From those chatter, a band without personnel was born. The band that somewhat influenced by rascal local bands who had clear statement about punk fashion, at that time, i.e. Laga Bara, Runtah, and also bands from early era of street punk community, i.e. Realino, Sriwedari, Meruya, and many more.

It was a short trip for Indra Binatang and Ustardz Chipeng to celebrate New Year eve in Klayatan, around 8pm, 31st December 1998, during the trip. The name for the band was born, “Begundal Lowokwaru” with two personnel. And in the next following day, the other personnel were recruited to help this uncertain project, they are: Buyung Mukembe, Age' Pipo Pilipo A.K.A Panda, Sableng, Fordi and Koko Ombat. Based on songs that they’ve created in Sidodadi Junction (place near Singosari traditional market), Begundal Lowokwaru began to perform in small punk events or sometime get leftover time from their close relative, a skapunk band “Skatoopid”. Eventually, Begundal’s songs such as “Road to the bottle (equality)”, “oi!seplok”, or “saudara sebotol” already take place in the local scene. Begundal Lowokwaru elevated street issues with straight and frank lyric-writing style; they began to get larger fans and audience, even though there still many of them questioned or even criticized their subject matter. After created some songs and gathered enough personnel, they planned to record their first album. Begundal Lowokwaru recorded their first album at Nada Musica Surabaya, this album contains 11 songs straight to the point street punk anthem, with personnel; ustardz Chipeng (vokal), John Gembel Gua Selarong (Guitar), Sableng Tangisan Boot (bass), Gopel Titisan Kiley (drum), and aided by Paduan suara Punkemiz Antartika Sidoarjo, This album was released under Street drunk rock records label in late 1999.

After this album had released, song that before was sung by local audience and relatives, now began to proclaimed in some punk communities which at that time so-called early era of punk, they rocked all the performing enquiries from Jakarta to “Island of Deity” Bali. 2000 copy album sale was a phenomenal achievement for the band from small town with mediocre music skill.

The big success in their first album brought the opportunity for Begundal Lowokwaru to collaborated with the elder of Sayidan Skinhead "the Sardonic", this album was developed in Yogyakarta, contains 11 songs from both bands, and released by Realino Records Yogyakarta, and also released with very limited copy, it was only 75 copy!. After split album release, a lot of changes occurred in the band. John Gembel resigned from the band, Age' Pipo Pilipo rejoined as bassist and Sableng filled rhythm guitar position, and Begundal Lowokwaru also invited Antok Celeng for lead guitar. With the current formation Begundal Lowokwaru began to work on their second album, at last, 11 songs which most of it written in English was released in early 2003, titled "Suburban legion", this album was an musical exploration and maturing development for Begundal Lowokwaru, a traditional instrument usually use by Arbanat (Traditional Food) seller was used in their music, made Begundal Lowokwaru became new concept for Indonesian punk scene.

This was turning point for Begundal Lowokwaru, the band hit by life necessity, Sableng and Celeng had to work in Bali, Ustardz Chipeng went to Borneo, and Gopel also went to Sumatra In this Phase, with aid from friends, Indra Binatang strived to keep Begundal Lowokwaru in motion, Begundal Lowokwaru’s vacuum phase occurred in a long time, in these time, Begundal Lowokwaru only produced one song for compilation album released by patriot 666 records Bali, titled “And the bottle for all”, this song also released by Realino Records titled “Oi! Penalti”.

In late 2004, Ustardz Chipeng return in Malang, fortunately, Antok Celeng also went back to Malang, some songs began to set in motion with band formation Ustardz Chipeng, Antok Celeng, Age' Pipo Pilipo, Bansheng Blokotok, and Udin Bach Cock(screaming factor). four songs had been made with this formation, and this time, the song contains lightweight instrument yet neat and so Begundal-ish recorded in studio ANTZ Malang, four song they produced began it’s journey fron one computer to another with mp3 format, even though, it was demo song, nevertheless it became anthem for this cold city.

Early 2006, personnel changes happened again, Bansheng Blokotok resign because the heavy tour schedule which usually crashed with his work, meanwhile, Udin Bach Cock determinate to get serious with his own band “Screaming Factor”, later on, their position filled again by “The Lost Boy” Indra Binatang who was idle because of Skatoopid was in vacuum phase, and his friend in Diskoteror project “diskopunk”, and drum position filled by an independence drummer, Rosi Kobra (played for many significant bands in local scene).

With this current formation, material for the next album was worked on; even they were still in city to city tour. Later on, in WW Studio, they recorded 20 songs for the third album, after all basic recording finished, mixing and mastering processed in GG Studio. Only nine songs added to their newest album. Titled “Punk Is A Threat Not A Fashion Tips( Goin' Traditional ), the album hit the market march 2008, just two months after released 1000 copy has been sold, this album was the answer for the thirst of Begundal Lowokwaru’s fans who longing for their work. In this phase, Indra Binatang had to vanish once more to get married. His position temporarily replaced by all-around guitarist Acoy Geboy (SATCF, kids next door, soldiers embrace) and Fat Feri (dive into summer); with this latest formation they wiped out Java-Bali on April till July 2008. And now,,,,, they are still working, recording, practicing, guitar fingering, drum practicing and rehearsals the new materials for the 4th album.

SB 27 RockPunk from Stockholm/Luleå Sweden. I first heard their music, reminds me to Bad Religion with vocal like Fat Wrech. Their music was so loud with a very good harmony. They are formed from a long friendship awake in August, 2004 when they drank together.

The Pain formed in 1983,out of distorted and no disgrace,the band has seen many line up changes,and up until 2007 still had 3 original members. we were influenced by the clash and 2nd wave of punk-ruts/uk subs discharge etc,but never tried to sound like our influences,shaping the band into their unique brand of ..punkfuckingrock...The Pain recorded demo..s in 83/84/87/92/94,the songs were released as tapes,the bands gigged with many of the uk..s finest,and finally released their debut album in 2005,..Arab On The Hill..and 2008 will see their 2nd offering released,titled-..-..Songs from the soil.....The Pain individually hold many political and moral beliefs,but try not to over emphasise that,mixing politics with humour and reggae/ska/hardcore aspects combined with our old school roots have shaped the pain into a true honest fun punk rock band.

Although Anti-Flag in its current lineup is known for being formed in Pittsburgh in 1993, the band was actually started up by Justin Sane and Pat Thetic in 1988. That incarnation fell apart after one show, and the band was shelved until 1993, when the current version of Anti-Flag began to take shape with the recruitment of (now ex-) bassist Andy Flag.

A Controversial Name:

The band's name often attracts criticism by those who believe it reflects an anti-American stance. The band offered an explanation of their name on the artwork for their 1999 release, A New Kind of Army, saying "Anti-Flag does not mean Anti-American. Anti-Flag means anti-war. Anti-Flag means the common people of the world are better off living in unity and peace. Anti-Flag means to stand against corporate greed that hurts millions while benefiting a handful of extremely rich. Anti-Flag means to fight against mindless nationalism. Anti-Flag means unity."

Controversial Politics:

Anti-Flag has always been fiercely and vocally political, taking a stance against war and capitalism, and addressing such issues as fascism in the punk scene, American foreign policy and racism.
This anti-capitalist stance drew criticism towards the band when they signed with RCA Records. Detractors said that this constituted a "sell-out" and that the band would lose its passion and voice. Anti-Flag defended against these attacks by saying that the new label allowed them to bring their message to more people, and by simply not toning down any of their messages on their first major label release, For Blood And Empire.

Formed by Melbourne-based artist Danius Kesminas in 2006, PUNKASILA is a fluid and collaborative project which includes graduates and current students from the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Yogyakarta. PUNKASILA play custom-made, hand-crafted mahogany guitars simulating hybrid M-16s/AK-47s and wear camouflage-patterned hand-painted batik, tailored as military fatigues. PUNKASILA's debut album, "Acronym Wars" was released in Indonesia in 2006. PUNKASILA give voice to the cacophony of acronyms representing the disparate political, military, religious, cultural and bureaucratic organisations that constitute the Indonesian body politic. Since Soekarno’s reign, acronyms have represented a real site of ideological struggle. Between 1950 and 1965 this phenomenon was defined as the period of “acronym wars”. PUNKASILA have set these acronyms to a frenetic, progressive-punk-rock idiom. Each song repetitively iterates a specific acronym, invoking its popular inversion using plesetan – a peculiar Indonesian word play or subversive double-speak. The name, PUNKASILA, which literally means “punk principles”, derives from Pancasila, the five ideological tenets devised by Soekarno as propaganda to create a unitary basis of Indonesian nationhood. Although PUNKASILA’s repertoire and appearance as a cultural outlaw militia suggests provocative intent the project is more a celebration of new-dawn, post-reformasi openness than critique, ambiguously straddling the fault between taboo, parody and humour. By demonstration, on the basis of the song list the CD was prohibited to replicate in Indonesia and the band have been previously censured at gigs. PUNKASILA have performed throughout Java and their numerous fans are from a wide-ranging demographic that includes the Sultan of Yogyakarta, Hamengkubuwono X, who has purchased a copy of Acronym Wars (which is possibly on high rotation in the princesses quarters). PUNKASILA’s abbreviated Repertoire (with accompanying plesetan inversion): TNI: Tentara Nasional Indonesia (Indonesian National Military), Tikyan Ning Idab-Idabi (Poor but Adorable) PNU: Partai Nahdlatul Ummat (Islamic Community Awakening Party), Partai Nunut Udud (Party for Taking Cigarettes from your Friends) TURBA: a conflation of Turun ke Bawah and Turuk Babi (Down to Earth, Pig’s Vagina). Vital PENTOLS form in 1998 was the youth's responsibility it rock music who want to fill the boredom with the routine of playing music and then agreed to form a rockmusic band to transform the energy and anger will be a lasting saturation (which is also a time to be a saturation).
We play songs of The Sex Pistols, and several months later in a house garage Bhernadus we agreed to give a name and VITAL PENTOLS have a song with tittle:"Better be a Punk than fucking Junkies".

Der Dicke Polizist (since 2005 only DDP) is a german punk band, which was founded in 1993 in Koblenz (near Bonn). DDP's music can be discribed as critical, direct and political Punkrock.
After many shows in their town, DDP produced their first demo tap "Keine Gerechtigkeit,Keine Liebe" (1994). In the following 3 year the band became more and more popular and plays shows with Wizo. Fuckin' Faces and Dödelhaie. Then they produced their second demo tape, called "Wir habens satt". In 1998 the next demo tape "Was Den Lieben Nachbar Stört" and their first album "Es geschah am hellixten Tag" had been produced. DDP produced the next album in the year 2002, which is called "Und Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt". In 2005 next album "DDP" had been published.
Today the bands name is only DDP because the old bandname sounds so funny ("the fat police man"), but the music DDP makes isn't funny, the lyrics are critical and politic.

ONE WAY SYSTEM - Biography

One Way System were formed in 1979 as a five piece band in Fleetwood, a seaside fishing town in the North West of England. Their raucous punk style was first noticed by No Future Records who included a demo of 'Jerusalem' on the now collectable compilation 'A Country Fit For Heroes' in 1981. This was shortly followed by the seminal 'Stab The Judge' EP on Blackpool's own 'Beat The System Records'.

It had taken some time for the line up to settle down as Gavin Whyte on vocals, Dave Ross guitar, Gaz Buckley bass & Tom Couch on drums

By 1983 the System became the first signing for new Cherry Red label 'Anagram Records'. Their first single for the label 'Give Us A Future' leapt straight into the Independent Chart. The band were featured on the front cover of the now defunct 'Sounds' music paper to coincide with the release of their acclaimed first album 'All Systems Go'. By this time the band were gigging constantly, both as headliners and alongside contemporaries such as GBH, The Exploited and The Test Tube Babies.

In retrospect the second album 'Writing On The Wall' really said it all with a title hinting of things to come. Although as hard edged and gritty as the first LP, one can detect the desire to move onwards and upwards from the straight punk sound. The band played some classic shows to promote the record including their only European outing, a 32 date tour of Germany.

The change of producer, from manager John Bentham, to Clay Records supremo Mike Stone for the 'Visions of Angels' EP, was a dramatic shift of sound and feel. Although well received, it seemed to leave the band in an almost uncomfortable void from which there was 'no return'.

October 1984 saw the band in America for a West Coast tour alongside US act 'The Circle Jerks', whose singer broke his neck just before the first gig resulting in the tour being cancelled. However the Los Angeles show at the massive Olympic Auditorium went ahead with Suicidal Tendencies stepping in. This was followed a couple a days later by what was to be the Systems last gig at an illegal warehouse party, where the band played a storming set on minimal equipment, hitting the last note as the Los Angeles Police Department arrived to break up the gathering

Their return to the UK was to prove difficult and although enough songs were written for a new album, the band had decided to call it a day.

1994 saw the release of both albums on CD by the "Captain Oi!" re-issue label. This was followed by a 'Best Of' CD from "Anagram". By mid '95 the original band was back together, rehearsing for their first live show in over Ten years. A couple of warm up gigs in the North of England were followed by the 'Fuck Reading' all dayer at London's Brixton Academy in front of 2000 people, along with a similar show headlining in Belgium.

Late November saw the departure of original bass player Gaz Buckley, with Dave 'Rabid' Brown standing in for a Ten date tour across Europe, Dave was soon to be replaced by Andy Wilkinson.

March 1996 and Cleopatra Records in Los Angeles issue the bands first ever US domestic release "Forgotten Generation", which is basically the "Best Of", but using some different tracks and different packaging. The band also released a limited pressing 7" vinyl EP of 4 live tracks from the Rennesincluding the already legendary 'Holidays In The Sun' festival in Blackpool, where the System "came home" to headline the second stage on the Saturday.

Whilst the band were working on new material and preparing to record in early '97, they found themselves without a singer! Gavin had decided not to pursue any interest with the band. So a decision was made to continue working on songs with band roadie 'Lee Havoc' taking on the microphone. This arrangement worked very well, and in a short time the band were recording new material

One Way Systems performance at the 'Holidays In The Sun' festival, The Holiday Snaps Video, is the last release to feature Gavin. A fitting finale for Gav to be playing to his biggest audience ever for a local show. Respect.

Atari Teenage Riot (abbreviated ATR) was a German digital hardcore group formed in Berlin in 1992. Highly political, they fused anarchist, anti-fascist and anti-Nazi views with punk vocals and the newly emerging techno sound called digital hardcore, which is a term band member Alec Empire used as the name of his record label.
The group was founded as an attack on the increasingly neo-Nazi influenced German techno scene and consisted of three Berliners - Alec Empire, Hanin Elias and MC Carl Crack. ATR's early releases (which included the track "Hetzjagd Auf Nazis!"/"Hunt Down the Nazis!") were surrounded by controversy in Germany due to the prevailing "no politics on the dance floor" attitude
After signing to Phonogram Records, a major European label, in 1993 the band received an unusually large financial advance which they duplicitously used to set up their own record label: Digital Hardcore Recordings (DHR). ATR never delivered a commercially viable demo to Phonogram.

In 1997 ATR was joined by Nic Endo, a Japanese-American noise/soundscape artist during the Beck tour.[2] Their live shows during this time were characterized by violence. An outdoor show in Berlin on May 1st 1999 resulted in the arrests of all of the band members for "inciting violence" after crowds, assembled for an anti-NATO protest, rioted with police (the charges were later dropped). In another incident, a security guard in Brazil was allegedly hospitalized after being beaten by Elias with a microphone. A fan stated in an interview that the guard had grabbed her between the legs as she tried to stage dive.

In 1999 ATR released 60 Second Wipe Out. The album featured a number of guest artists including New York City rappers The Arsonists. According to Magnet Magazine, "Empire's guitar-playing values speed-thrash malevolence, and when paired with Endo's painful skronkage, the album is decidedly denser than its predecessor."

The group effectively disbanded in 2000. Any chance of reformation was eliminated on September 6, 2001 by the death of Carl from an overdose, who had long struggled with a drug addiction.In June 2002, Hanin Elias left DHR to create Fatal Recordings, a label formed exclusively for female artists, similar to her DHR Fatal offshoot label. Empire produced the track "You Suck" for her debut album No Games, No Fun; however, in the album's artwork, specifically in a collage of collaborators, Empire's face is blacked out, signifying the end of their professional relationship.

The other half of the band continue to work together. Endo assists in the production of Empire's solo recordings as well as being a key member of his live band. DHR released Atari Teenage Riot: 1992-2000, a collection of the band's best known recordings, on July 3, 2006.
